Attention: Consumer fireworks without CE marking are illegal

Directive 2013/29/EU (implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree 123 of 2015) requires all pyrotechnic products introduced to the European market to be certified according to precise and detailed technical standards. The certification process results in the CE mark (European Conformity) being applied to all pyrotechnic articles.

and the corresponding CE label

WHAT INFORMATION MUST BE ON THE CE LABEL?

The following information must always accompany the sale of the pyrotechnic product and must be clear, legible, and in a language understandable in the country where it is sold.

CE CONFORMITY MARKING
CE logo followed by the identification number
of the Notified Body
