How to read the CE label
Information which must be provided on CE label
The following information must always be provided clearly and legibly on the products in the language of the country in which they are sold.
- manufacturer
If the manufacturer is not established in the European Union the labelling shall include the name of both manufacturer and importer
- commercial name
- type
(Ex: Fountain)
- registration number
(ex. 1170-F2-0001)
- minimum age limit
(ex. not to be provided to any person under 18 years old)
- european category
(ex. F2)
- safety information
- NEC - NET EXPLOSIVE CONTENT
(ex. NEC: 20 g)
- EUROPEAN CONFORMANCE CE MARK
(CE logo followed by identification number of the Notified Body)
